ART STUDIO
As an industry leader, TOPSON DOWNS always looks at how we can set ourselves apart from the masses. In 2011, the TOPSON Art Studio was created. The objective was to develop and own one-of-a-kind custom prints to be utilized for our in-house brands and retail partners. Starting as a team of two, the TOPSON Art Studio has expanded to 5 creators, eventually eliminating the need for outside print vendors often seen in the market. Today, the Art Studio has a library featuring over 15,000 prints and is constantly continuing to evolve and grow the database.

Topson Downs’ 80 door- 442,000 square foot distribution facility in Chino, CA came online in November 2017. It is Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified. Design and constructed following the U.S. Green Building Council guidelines for LEED certification. LEED developments are voluntary and are designed to be environmentally responsible, high-performing, sustainable, and healthy places to work. These efficiencies in electricity alone have been confirmed by annual energy cost savings of approximately $50,000 vs a comparable building without the LEED Certification.
In addition, the landscape was designed with a state-of-the-art ground drip system with drought-tolerant plants and extensive water run-off management capabilities to reduce infrastructure stress when the area is hit with hard rainfall.
Topson Downs partnered with Manhattan Associates, one of the premier Tier 1 Warehouse Management System developers in the world to implement its SCALE WMS application in Feb 2018. SCALE allows Topson Downs to operate its distribution facility with industry-leading efficiency and accuracy. Topson Downs has the capacity to receive 1 million + units/week, and process and ship 1 million + units/week.

In response to COVID-19, our teams have pivoted to relying heavily on our China office, in turn making us more efficient and effective. We expanded our countries of production to include India, meanwhile investing strongly in Bangladesh. With our US-based design team and global design support, we offer vast market intelligence and can source fabric, trims, and technology from the source. in partnering with our vendor factories, we now offer a uniquely vertical supply chain with complete traceability and ownership. our own US warehouse allows us to give our Retailers the flexibility to hold or call goods.
